TANGOSAURUS

The art installation "Raumbandoneon Tangosaurus," located at Musiktheater Linz, pays tribute to the bandoneon, a fascinating instrument known for its magical sounds. This installation is also an instrument: while playable in the traditional way, its sound is controlled by a computer, which transfers it to more than 110 wooden sound boxes that are activated by compressed air. Additionally, visitors can experience the world’s first two digitally playable bandoneons.
